In this challenging role you will grow the global business in the CPG segment to achieve its organizational goals and objectives. If you bring an open mind, great sales skills and 5 plus years of experience, you are well on your way to one of the most exciting sales positions around.

The job

As Global Account Manager you work out of the Nordics - Denmark or Sweden - in an international role where you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of strategic process OEMs.

Your clients

Your portfolio will be 2-3 of our large and strategic customers, and your focus will be to consolidate the current business and increase our project and solution sales approach to open new business opportunities and boost the automation sales.

You will develop a Strategic Account Plan for your clients, which can be used to guide the activities with the client, coordinate with your Key Account, Support, and Sales network in the countries, where the clients have factories, clusters, or branches. You will develop relationships and activities with the client organization and all departments (engineering, sourcing, innovation, sales, etc.). You will help your client in the development of new solutions, and you will collaborate with the customer's sales department to identify projects on which to build a pipeline with a 1-3-year horizon.

Internal cooperation

Within Schneider Electric you will collaborate closely with the entire CPG end user team in identifying projects with a commercial approach - between the End User, the process OEM, and Schneider Electric. You will work closely with the Marketing team and Lines of Business for the development of a strong value proposition.

You will work with Schneider Electric’s country organizations, where the process OEMs have plants, helping in the development of the business. This cooperation also covers the software teams of Schneider Electric, Aveva, and ProLeiT, to develop joint activities enhancing the business with the client.

The candidate

You are motivated by working in an independent role where you get to build close relationships with clients, partners, managers, and peers. You are outgoing, open, collaborative and find it natural to question status quo in a straightforward and effective manner. Moreover, you:

  • Hold a degree in a business management or in a technical discipline
  • Have in-depth knowledge of the CPG segment and process OEMs and their dynamics, needs, and pain points
  • Have proven knowledge of automation, software, digital transformation, and IOT products and solutions
  • Have 5+ years of sales experience in a high performing team
  • Have strong solution selling skills
  • You speak and write English fluently

You are currently living in Denmark or in Sweden, or you are willing to relocate. In your new job you will travel frequently in Europe and occasionally outside Europe.
