If you are a professional with lots of experience in sales and contract negotiation, while still possessing a technical mindset, then come put your skills to the test as our new Senior Sales Manager in our renewables department at Semco Maritime!

We are looking for an experienced professional in the field of sales and contract negotiation, for this newly created position in our sales team for renewables. You will be working in close collaboration with the entire sales team and report directly to our Sales Director.

Your tasks and responsibilities
As our new Senior Sales Manager, you will be responsible for the international offshore substation EPC business. Your role will be to cover the daily sales and opportunity management to maintain our position as the leading Offshore AC substation provider on the market.
Your tasks will include but are not limited to:

  • Representing Semco Maritime and ensuring that potential clients are aware that we offer a wide range of technical solutions for the wind sector
  • Developing relationships with key stakeholders internationally
  • Generating bid opportunities with new and existing clients in the wind industry
  • Acting as the lead commercial negotiator on your assigned sales opportunities
  • Undertaking industry competitor research and being present at industry events and exhibitions

Your qualifications and skills
To succeed in this position, your educational background is not essential, but you must hold extensive experience in sales and negotiation. Furthermore, it is important that you next to your sales-skills, have a good foundation of technical knowledge, preferably from prior experience in the offshore wind or energy sector.
Outside of that, it is essential that you:

  • Possess a strong personal drive to actively seek out solutions and business opportunities
  • Have great interpersonal and communication skills
  • Have a large professional network
  • Are an experienced contract negotiator and know the ins and outs of striking a good deal
  • Are a go getter with a can-do attitude
