We are seeking a structured, experienced Sales Director to join our Sales team. As part of a fast-growing global brand, you'll be engaged in a dynamic industry, where you will find LIEWOOD to be and organization driven by ambition, a passion for design, and by utilizing the combined strength of the company to ensure growth.


As our new Sales Director, you will lead a talented team of 15 professionals across HQ and Europe. Reporting directly to the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO), you will be a strategic partner in shaping and executing our sales strategy, managing budgets, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Your leadership will be pivotal in achieving our ambitious sales targets and enhancing our brand presence in core markets. Since you will interact with stakeholders across various business areas, both internal and external, you are expected to hold excellent communicating skills and a desire to seek a deep understanding of the business.

You will be working from our beautiful LIEWOOD office in Copenhagen Ø.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive Regional Sales Growth: Achieve and exceed annual turnover targets by expanding our presence in current markets and successfully onboarding new accounts.
  • Strategic Sales Execution: Develop and implement sales strategies that foster profitable growth, optimize the desired account mix, and increase brand visibility in key regions.
  • Budget Management: Oversee monthly budget planning and management, ensuring alignment with financial objectives and strategic priorities.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by maintaining strong relationships and delivering exceptional service.
  • Team Leadership and Development: Lead and mentor a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement

Core Competencies:

  • Industry Experience: Background in FMCG or lifestyle sectors, with experience in children's wear, fashion, or related industries.
  • Leadership: Proven experience leading remote sales teams with a structured and strategic approach.
  • Strategic Planning: High ability to prioritize value-adding activities and manage detailed budget planning.
  • Trade and Shop-in-Shop Expertise: Experience with account planning, trade marketing, and shop-in-shop management.
  • High-Energy & Communication: High-energy personality with excellent communication skills, capable of articulating roadblocks and offering actionable solutions.
  • Team Player: Ability to create strong cross-functional relationships and lead with an authentic desire to develop talent and offer coaching.

Practical Experience:

  • Sales Leadership: 10+ years of experience in a sales leadership role, with a solid background in both sales and marketing within international companies.
  • Strategic Mindset: Documented success in sales strategy development and implementation, with experience in determining KPIs and ensuring follow-up.
  • International Sales: Experience in managing international sales channels and working with foreign markets (beyond Scandinavia).
  • Cross-Functional Experience: Strong background in collaborating with international teams across different sales functions
