Our ambition is to transform meter data into insights that will help utilities optimize the production and distribution of clean water and energy as well as improve energy efficiency and decarbonization of buildings and cities. Therefore, we are looking for a Head of Sales Nordic Region to lead our Heat-Cooling sales in Denmark, Norway, and Sweden.
With direct reference to our Vice President Nordic Region, you will become part of the Nordic sales team with an ambition of ensuring Kamstrup’s reliable, value-adding, and innovative solutions and services for the Heat Cooling Utilities. More specific, you will get the opportunity to lead a growth business within green tech and the digitalization of energy supply in Denmark, Norway, and Sweden. As a market leader with a high focus on innovation, we have delivered state-of-the-art metering service and continuously added new areas to our portfolio that enable our customers to manage their supply of energy. As Head of Sales, you will be managing a team of 10-12 sales colleagues within our district heating and cooling segment where you will play a key role in the transformation from a country to a region-based setup. The working environment in the team is characterized by being performance-driven, collaborative, transparent, and solution-oriented.
A job with focus on customer value creation and realizing our growth potential
As the new Head of Sales Nordic Region, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing strategy for Kamstrup’s market approach and positioning to realize the full potential. This also means optimizing Kamstrup’s pricing strategy and policy in alignment with divisions to support our strategy on market share and earnings. You will contribute to building up the Kamstrup brand as an innovative quality-oriented solutions provider and secure reporting and follow-up according to request, e.g., deviation in time to correct actions. Furthermore, you will build, manage, and develop the sales team accordingly amongst others to achieve the goals and secure a high degree of customer satisfaction. You will have a broad interface across Kamstrup with e.g., Product Management and Marketing.

Personality matters
We are looking for an ambitious Head of Nordic Sales, who will serve as a role model for change and inspire the sales force to elevate our professionalism to new heights. We imagine that you hold a master’s degree in Sales, Business Administration, or similar. In addition, you have a minimum of 5 years of experience in an international managerial sales position in a dynamic business environment, where you have worked with sales offices in different countries. You have a good understanding of the sales cycle and tools as well as a successful record of delivering results and customer satisfaction, preferably in the Software, Service, or Heat Cooling industry. You can lead a team to achieve goals while growing and scaling the sales organization of a sizeable business. Experience in selling software, solutions, or services is considered an advantage.
As a person, you have a strong business acumen, a customer-oriented mindset and lead in a transparent manner. You possess strong communication skills that enable you to set a clear direction and interact with stakeholders both internal and external. In addition, you have strong analytical skills and can conduct standard performance-, market-, and competitor analyses. Lastly, we imagine that you are familiar with relevant software tools and platforms.
It is a requirement that you master English – both orally and written. You should be capable of communicating verbally in the Scandinavian languages.

- Securing the right level of competence in the team, e.g. sales skills, negotiation, knowledge on solutions, and personal efficiency
- Providing insight and consolidating input for Kamstrup’s budget and sales budget process
- Securing collection and consolidation of market insight on trends, competitors, customer potential, and needs
- Ensuring transparency and compliance to global processes and procedures
- Ensuring compliance with Kamstrup governance and policies
- Securing implementation and maintenance of Kamstrup’s quality and environment management systems
- Inspiring, empowering, and providing strategic direction for the Nordic sales team, enabling them to achieve their goals and contribute to the overall success of the organization
