About the role

Our projects are complex, so we are looking for someone who can drive ongoing negotiations that can extend several years.

As Sales Manager you will be a part of our newly established Sales Department with focus on Grinding Stations worldwide. Our department belongs to the Cement Industry business which acts as a global hub from which we drive the sales process through collaboration with our regions.
The newly created position provides opportunities for individuals who enjoy thinking out of the box in order to drive customer awareness and business growth.

The newly created position provides opportunities for individuals who enjoy thinking out of the box in order to drive customer awareness and business growth.
Your responsibilities:
- Ownership of sales process from tender phase to final negotiations and contract signature
- Converting customer requirements into strong technical and commercial offer through collaboration with the technical experts and local sales teams
- Lead the proposal development and sales strategy for the opportunities
- Manage your pipeline of projects within your portfolio
You have:
- A relevant technical background from the heavy industry, preferably within cement
- At least 5 years of experience within the industry
- A proven track record with international project sales (project sizes of at least 75 million dkk)
- Energetic personality, able to set priorities and develop relations with a strong commercial focus
- Good in communicating technical matters to non-technical customers
- Eagerness to think out of the box to close the sales and win
- Ability to understand and liaise with stakeholders at different organizational levels
- Independent and self-motivated - willingness to travel globally (70-100 days per year)
- You speak and write English fluently – other languages like French or Spanish would be highly preferred
