Service Operational & Technical Resources Global Operational Support Supervisors
Global Operation Support is a part of the Service organisation in Vestas.
For our Global Operational Support team, we are now looking to hire three professionals to work globally on assignments for improvement, optimisation, commissioning, construction and prototype related tasks. You will be part of a team consisting of 25 Supervisors working in many different locations in Denmark and in the world.
Responsibilities
Your primary responsibility will be to support in consolidated and evolving markets where business requirements have highlighted the need of experts in operational and field support. This will both be on existing and new technologies of Vestas and Non-Vestas Turbines. Overall, it means be to:

To qualify for this position, it is necessary that you have:

Additional information
You will be working out from Videbæk, Denmark, but you will be working on sites around the world and in Denmark.
You should expect travel activity up to 180 days annually worldwide including Denmark. However, the first year will probably be in Denmark until you are trained in the Vestas standards.

For our Global Operational Support team, we are now looking to hire three professionals to work globally on assignments for improvement, optimisation, commissioning, construction and prototype related tasks. You will be part of a team consisting of 25 Supervisors working in many different locations in Denmark and in the world.
Responsibilities
Your primary responsibility will be to support in consolidated and evolving markets where business requirements have highlighted the need of experts in operational and field support. This will both be on existing and new technologies of Vestas and Non-Vestas Turbines. Overall, it means be to:
- Provide the necessary levels of support that will serve our now global client base
- Support in complex operational and field request from Local Service organisations, Supervision, technical expertise, Field training and local Service organisation support in operational set-up
- Provide technical knowledge as part of Prototype projects in Denmark
More specifically, you will work with:
- Prototype development
- Commissioning and retro-fit projects
- Installation and troubleshooting
- Field trainer support on main component exchanges
Furthermore, you will handle and challenge the documentation and other administrative work
Qualifications
To qualify for this position, it is necessary that you have:
- Technical diploma (preferably electrical or mechanical) or technical and vocational education and training
- At least one year in Field Service organisation in Vestas or Non-Vestas Turbines
- Great skills in English language - written and spoken
- Global Wind Organisation course (safety training standards)
- Flair for using IT as part of your work
Furthermore, you have no travel restrictions or limitations, since travel time can be up to 85%
