And this is your chance to work on the products that will get us there, bringing innovation and collaboration together.Within the Network & Enterprise Voice (N&EV) team there is an opening for a Network DevOps SME. We are looking for a SME with a focus on driving operational excellence best practices. You will work directly with a global team to support continuous integration, testing and delivery needs across the N&EV. You will focus on building, monitoring, maintaining, and supporting critical infrastructure for the engineering teams. Including source code repository management, pipeline configuration, build and packaging scripts, test execution, reporting, deployment and release pipelines, and tooling. You will own process improvement initiatives to maintain and develop self-service tools and solutions for our build, test, and deployment infrastructure. This role will focus mainly on dev ops but will also require supporting the development and IT teams.

We would like to hear from you if you demonstrate the following:

• 10+ years of in-depth Perimeter, WAN & LAN technical knowledge, with Cisco, HP, Aruba, and Checkpoint, DMVPN, SD WAN, scripting, Agile Devops, Scrum technology and methodology.
• Build systems and tooling experience, including testing and analysis
• 3rd/4th level technical support for complex incidents.
• Collaborate with the engineering team as an expert on reliability, performance, and efficiency
• Develop highly repeatable processes and have a mindset to automate everything from deploying software to mitigating system failures
• Implement instrumentation to monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues
• Influence and create new designs, software, architecture, and methods for deploying large scale distributed systems in the most secure fashion
• Application platform experience deployed using core technologies
• Experience with monitoring and platforms tools
• Track record of solving complex problems with technology (automation)
• Experience working in a fast paced Agile/Scrum environment
• Experience with IT architecture with focus on reusability and automation
• Multi-year experience of Software Defined networking
• Multi-year experience next generation firewalling
• Multi-year experience of OT networking
• Multi-year experience of varying connectivity types – LTE, Satellite, fibre, radio, 4G
• Ability to coordinate with all levels of the firm to design and deliver technical solutions to business problems
• Ability to influence without authority
• Prioritization and time management
• Solid developer/scripting experience: Python, Web-dev & Powershell preferred, working knowledge of developer tools and processes such as API, code versioning, CI/CD pipeline, automated testing.
• Mentor other engineers and technical analysts
• Agile/DevOps experience is a must.
• Experience on a public cloud platform (e.g. Azure, Google Cloud, AWS)
• Infrastructure integration (e.g. Restful APIs, Flow & Logic App, O365, ServiceNow)
• Awareness of, and ability to reason about, modern software & systems architectures, including load-balancing, performance tuning, availability, business continuity, fault tolerant distributed systems, microservices, and so on
• Proven track record of technical environment improvement and generate automation Idea and execute
• Strong stakeholder management and business analysis skills
• Minimum of 10+ years large enterprise experience of delivering/managing solutions on a global level
• Demonstrable technical qualifications in required technologies.
• In addition, a deep understanding of very many of the following; Cisco route/switch/WLAN products, HP & Aruba switches/WLAN, Firewalls esp Checkpoint and ASA, F5 & Kemp Load-balancers, VPNs, QoS, DNS, Infoblox DHCP and IPAM, Microsoft Azure, Windows server, Linux, VMware Bluecoat Proxy and Zscaler experience
• Wireshark experience
• Ensure higher level of accountability/ownership in terms of working autonomously and leading solutioning/resolving challenges within a service operational environment
• Ensure the environment remains standard and in line with HLD’s and LLD’s fit for purpose with relevant technical artefacts and SOP’s.
• Strong leadership, partnership, and communication skills
• Create "blameless" root cause analysis on infrastructure issues, in a fast-paced environment
• Ensure Maersk are getting maximum value out of our current technical environment
• Compliance review to technical security standards and policy.
• Maintaining documentation and improving the organization’s retained knowledge
• Evaluating new technologies/trends and recommending changes. Trialling of agreed/approved new technologies
• Liaising with project teams to help deliver on-time with a minimum of friction.
• Coaching/training of junior technical staff.
