You’ll play a vital part in our success and in this role you will be a key driver in building our digital core SAP Transportation Management for our Inland Platform.

Maersk is on multi-year program to revamp its technology and digital solutions footprint and as part of new strategy, SAP will act as the ‘digital core’ for company’s Transportation Management processes.

While we are relying on varies Delivery partners in our transformation, we are investing into building our internal SAP TM capabilities.

As SAP TM Functional Engineer you will be responsible for SAP solution design, delivery and support working closely with product owner, architects and other stakeholders from business and technology.

Our global template of SAP transportation management will be implemented by Maersk Delivery partners and SAP TM Functional Engineer priority will be to enable implementation and roll of the standard template to different countries.

Responsibilities include:

• Responsible for Solution design, build, testing, configuration, solution delivery and support for SAP EM products across Maersk business units with focus on SAP TM and Supplier Portal Integration.

• Work in an agile environment with SAP EM product owners, Architects, SAP developers/engineers and Scrum master in executing on prioritized backlog

• Ensuring on-time delivery of solution by removing bottlenecks using expertise skills

• High quality of solution delivery ensuring design is followed during build and support

• Compliance to Enterprise architecture, global template guidelines and product roadmap

• Manage and follow product backlog, including prioritization of needs, creation of backlog items and mapping out dependencies in collaboration with users and customers

• Evaluating product progress accountable for each stage of the development process and the final product. Inspect and evaluate product progress at each iteration, determine whether final product is acceptable. Performance of product in general, includes example value delivery, user satisfaction, performance of the support process, compliance, cost, stability of the product and deployment/roll-out performance.

• To be successful, you need to ensure deliverables match needs of stakeholders

• Ensure solution stays standard as much possible & promote reuse of existing functionalities

• Significant commercial success in SAP TM as functional consultant/engineer

• Experience working as SAP functional engineer in agile delivery environments

• Experience in implementing SAP EM module with Integration to SAP TM preconfigured scenario with complex rule-based events updates and workflows.

• Experience with integration to PI/PO and other middle ware to integrate events with non SAP systems.

• Technical understanding or knowledge of BOBF, ABAP and integration with other SAP components

• Experience in working with business process owners in understanding business requirement, analysis, proto typing of solutions, configuration, design, testing, building custom logic, writing FS, mass upload of data.

• Experience in designing alerts and reports for various events.

• Experience in working with SAP Activate, Agile and waterfall delivery models

• Professional or PG Degree in Logistics or related discipline
