We currently have an opening for an experienced software developer to design and maintain our complex robot system. Rope Robotics offers a progressive working environment with a broad range of responsibilities. You will be part of a small and efficient R&D team where the distance from idea to action is short.

We are looking for someone who has a systematic and result oriented approach to work. In this role it will be crucial to keep track of your tasks and their effect on other projects. You can take on responsibility independently and have a hands-on approach. Finding a solution today rather than tomorrow should always be your mantra, while keeping the big picture in mind.

Did you know that a wind turbine blades can be repaired only 20% of the time during a year and it requires a man to climb up with the support of ropes? Rope Robotics is developing the world first blade maintenance robot to reduce the cost of green wind power and improve the working environment of service technicians. Rope Robotics is located in Aarhus with 15 employees currently. We are a young/dedicated team that offers a variety of benefits such as weekly exercise (Running or MTB) and canteen. We have our robots working in various places around the world and have received major funding from the EU and Danish Government. And the future looks bright!

The Job:
- Take a key role in the software development of one of the most innovative robot projects in Denmark
- Be responsible for the implementation of functionality and architecture in our product roadmap
- Ensure good communication and team play both within the R&D team and within the organization
Who are we looking for?

Skills and personal competencies:
- 5+ years of experience as software developer
- Experience using Python, C++, ROS etc.
- Experience with the linux operating system.
- Experience with robotics systems is a plus
- You have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in the area of software development
- Good social skills and a humorous yet serious approach to work
