We are looking for Software Tech Lead for our Displaying Units and Systems Engineering team who can participate in shaping the future success of Ambu.
Tasks
As a Software Tech Lead you will be an integral part of the newly established Software Development Team in Displaying Units and Systems Engineering department within Global Innovation. You will be responsible for scoping and driving software deliverables either as standalone projects or as art of a device project. You will work closely with the onsite team as well as our development partners and you will coordinate closely with our hardware function, marketing department, QA/RA and customers.

You have
We are looking for a highly motivated candidate who has experience with leading SW development in an R&D environment. Most likely, you are employed as technical project manager or technical lead engineer within SW development. You come with a proactive and flexible mind-set combined with the ability to plan, execute and meet deadlines. You manage to focus, prioritize and document the result of analysis and test in technical reports.
As you will be working with external development partners worldwide, it is of great importance that you have excellent project management skills as well as interpersonal skills, including multicultural awareness and sensitivity, ideally within Asian culture. Furthermore, using methods and tooling for a structured approach is also natural to you.

Tasks
As a Software Tech Lead you will be an integral part of the newly established Software Development Team in Displaying Units and Systems Engineering department within Global Innovation. You will be responsible for scoping and driving software deliverables either as standalone projects or as art of a device project. You will work closely with the onsite team as well as our development partners and you will coordinate closely with our hardware function, marketing department, QA/RA and customers.
Your key area of responsibilities will be to
- Act as tech lead in the software development in order to consistently deliver complex, high-quality software solutions that support our current and future displaying units
- Drive the agile culture
- Take part in defining and implementing design and architectural principles
- Secure the delivery of high quality, well-written code
- Liase with management regarding projects activities, plan, resources and budgets
- Interface with external subcontractors providing full or partial software contributions
Profile
The ideal candidate is experienced in delivering customer-focused solutions to challenging technical problems and thrives in a fast-moving environment that both requires tactical and strategic thinking.
You have
- Experience with software development for embedded devices
- C++ coding skills
- Engineering process experience with the Agile Software Development principles
- Understanding of integration and API concepts, patterns, and technologies
- Experience with managing deliveries from external software engineering vendors
- You value teamwork
- Domain knowledge / experience within application for Linux is highly preferred
