Can you take lead in building a whole new capability in LEO Pharma?

You will be trusted to take lead, define the road ahead and generally decide what to do and how to do it. Build a new framework for leveraging company data to drive business solutions
Basically, your job is to enable the business to make better and more qualified decisions by building of a new data science capability in our IT organisation. Your personal efforts will support faster development of better working medical products with fewer side effects to the benefit of millions of patients around the globe. Your data will naturally also support managers at all levels in making the best business strategies and decisions. You will:
Identify opportunities for leveraging company data to drive business solutions – in dialogue with various stakeholders Mine and analyze data from company data sources Assess the effectiveness and accuracy of new data sources and data gathering techniques Develop custom data models and algorithms to apply to data sets Use predictive modeling to increase and optimize customer experiences, revenue generation, ad targeting and other business outcomes Develop company A/B testing framework and test model quality Coordinate with different functional teams to implement models and monitor outcomes Develop processes and tools to monitor and analyze model performance and data accuracy

5-7 years’of experience from manipulating data sets and building statistical models
We are looking for an entrepreneur that has the combined business and data understanding it takes to spearhead a complex operation like this. You must thrive on being the one to point out the road ahead and be able to come up with solutions to the many challenges we will face on the way. As you first and foremost are an enabler for the business, you must like to interact with multiple colleagues across departments as well as professional and cultural borders. Related to this, you must be able to translate your professional lingo so it makes sense to people without your own expertise. Additionally, your CV comprises:
A Master’s or PhD in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science or similar 5-7 years’ of experience from manipulating data sets and building statistical models Experience from creating data architectures on Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure Experience from using statistical computer languages – R, Python, SLQ, etc. Knowledge of statistical and data mining techniques and machine learning techniques Coding knowledge and experience with several languages: C, C++, Java, JavaScript, etc. Experience using cloud native web services Experience analyzing data from 3rd party providers Experience with distributed data/computing tools Experience visualizing/presenting data for stakeholders

You will join approx. 40 Architects and Developers at the LEO Pharma HQ in Ballerup, Greater Copenhagen.
