At our HQ in Ballerup, Copenhagen, you will join our IT Service Delivery function in Group IT and our IT Infrastructure Development team of 8 colleagues who all enjoy a great atmosphere where we help and bounce ideas off each other.
Transform our entire IT set-up

We are in the earlier stages of transforming the entire IT set-up, which means you will listen to business needs and challenge our processes to maximize business value. Specifically, you will do so by taking ownership of our Database and Backup services, taking a holistic approach in enabling stakeholders across cultures and structures – including 1st and 2nd level support.
Thus, you will be the one to set the direction, enable solid structures, processes and use of the right
technologies. This will also allow you to work hands-on as you:
Connect widely throughout IT
You will be connected to our entire technology universe, including IT Operations, Project & Portfolio Management, Information Security, Solution Development, and many other functions.
Analytical and structured with the mindset of a consultant
Collaborative and curious, you are driven to explore opportunities and act when you spot them, engaging those around you to ensure they are brought to life.
You also have great interpersonal skills and enjoy sharing and presenting your ideas to stakeholders across a global organization.
Furthermore, you have proven experience working in a global IT infrastructure setup, hold a deep knowledge of IT infrastructure architecture & solutions, as well as possess solid knowledge of ITIL & ITSM processes, cloud infrastructures, agile methods and DevOps. - Drive the development and maintenance of life cycle plans and technology road map in collaboration with Enterprise Architecture, IT Operations and your 8 colleagues in Infrastructure Development
- Design, plan and implement the right Database and Backup solutions for our workloads in both our on-premise datacenters and cloud (mainly Azure)
- Assist our IT projects in designing the right infrastructure solution for applications

Furthermore, you have proven experience working in a global IT infrastructure setup, hold a deep knowledge of IT infrastructure architecture & solutions, as well as possess solid knowledge of ITIL & ITSM processes, cloud infrastructures, agile methods and DevOps. In addition, we imagine that you have:
- Several years of experience with SQL Database, as an administrator, as well as possessing experience with Database services and Infrastructure as Code in public cloud.
- Several years of experience with back up, recovery and archiving disciplines. Knowledge of technologies such as HP 3Par, Veritas backup solutions, Microsoft DPM are advantages to possess, but not a prerequisite.
- a general understanding of Nutanix and VMware, which are some of our other Datacenter services, are advantages, but not prerequisites for the position
- A solid methodology for automating and standardize procedures enabling self-service for colleagues
- Are fluent in English
