Advalight has developed a patented, multi-wavelength, medical laser system allowing dermatologists to treat a wide variety of skin abnormalities. The ADVATx® laser treatment system has been cleared for sale in Europe, Asia, and the US, and Advalight is now ramping up the production in 2019-2020. To support the growth, we are looking for a technologically curious person who must support an existing medical device and must at the same time participate in the development of a new product. A person with a multidisciplinary approach and a flair for finding solutions to a variety of problems which may involve laserphysics, photonics, optics, mechanics and thermal issues.

A person with a multidisciplinary approach and a flair for finding solutions to a variety of problems which may involve laserphysics, photonics, optics, mechanics and thermal issues.
Job profile:
Reporting to the R&D manager, your tasks will be highly diversified and will include:
- Laser prototype development and test
- Making test rigs
- Production support
- Taking part in the verification of new products and new software versions
Candidate profile:
Your qualifications should include a technical background, including:
- An engineering degree or equivalent work experience required
- Oral and written skills in English
- Significant laboratory hands on experience
- Opto-mechanical knowhow
- CAD (SolidWorks)Lasers (DPSS) and Optics
Furthermore, the ideal candidate would have experience with
- IEC 60601 and ISO 13485 standards
- ERP systems (NAV)
- Clean room experience
- Conversational Danish is a benefit
