We are looking for an experienced C++ Software Engineer to join our team for the full-time.
The ideal candidate is expected to be comfortable developing C++ Desktop Applications in Qt for Windows 10, being familiar with designing programs for controlling external hardware, able to debug both hardware and software.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain C/C++ software for embedded platforms
- Designing GUI with strict performance requirement for displaying real-time plots, data maps and video streams.
- Developing of networking protocols and communication to host software (e.g. TCP/IP, Bluetooth, Protobuf)
- Work with low level Linux/POSIX APIs
Qualifications:
- 3+ years' experience actively working with the C++ programming language,
- Familiar with the C++ 14 and 17 specs.
- Experience in Qt 5, signals/slots, and event-driven programming.
- Experience in multithread programming and synchronization techniques.
- Familiar with hardware communication via serial ports, TCP/IP, Bluetooth.
- Controlling scientific data acquisition and storage.
- Familiar with developing data visualization-oriented GUIs.
- Familiar working with large datasets of scientific data.
- Experience developing DLLs and APIs for automation from external software.
Location:
Remote, with possible business trips to the Lightnovo office in Birkerød, Denmark.
