Solution Architect
For a newly created position in the IT department, we are looking for a Solution Architect at the Silvan headquarter in Brabrand. In this role you will be responsible for aligning IT-projects and activities with the business in close collaboration with project managers, solution providers and partners.
If you like to take the lead in ensuring that our IT solutions add value to the business and are relevant to users and if you won't let go of a project until the solution is fully implemented you might be the person we are looking for.

Main responsibilities
As a Solution Architect your main tasks are to ensure effective and secure IT solutions that support the business’ needs and strategies as well as implementing IT projects fast and efficiently. Furthermore, you will be responsible for:
- Project- and portfolio management (Program Management).
- Project management during implementation of IT solutions.
- Design and development of new and existing applications and solutions including change management activities.
- Analysis of optimization potentials for the IT solutions holistically and oversee execution measures.
- Document and maintain documentation of IT solutions.
- Describe and document IT processes.
- Preparation and follow up on Business Cases.
Preferred qualifications
- You come from a similar role and you have several years of experience in implementing business projects - preferably in the retail sector.
- You have solid experience with process optimization and implementation of business projects (e.g. ERP, BI, POS, etc.) and you are used to preparing solution designs, continuously identifying new opportunities and improvement initiatives based on new technologies and standards.
- You have strong communication skills and are business fluent in English, both verbally and in writing.
- You will contribute with new ideas and proactively seek new opportunities and solutions to ensure both secure and cost-effective IT usage.
