Cloud Solution Architect

To support our growing AWS Cloud business we are looking for an experienced cloud solutions architect to join the team. The primary responsibility will be to architect solutions for our customers as well as taking responsibility for aligning and further improving our current cloud solutions and infrastructure. You will be doing this in close cooperation with the CTO, the cloud engineers and developers and the customers
We expect you to bring detailed knowledge, experience and implementation skills from Cloud projects and along with wellproven team skills, business acumen and a pragmatic approach to solving problems.
Roles and Responsibilities
You will play a key role in Peytz’ ability to deliver cloud infrastructure- and development-projects, where you will participate in projects alongside customers, project managers, developers and operations. You will be designing and implementing solutions and collaborating with the team to create futureproof and state-of-the-art designs and solutions for our customers.
Responsibilities include
- Design high-quality, efficient solutions and components to meet business requirements and in accordance with industry best practices.
- Drive cloud design, security and compliance requirements into the cloud architecture framework, including integration points with our private- cloud platform.
- Define and document our cloud solutions architecture and drive its implementation across AWS and private cloud
- Develop technical solutions addressing business issues.
- Engage in requirements discussions and meetings with customers
- Build on our strong customer focus and take ownership and navigate through ambiguity and undefined problems.
Required Skills and Experience
- IT industry experience of 10 - 15 years preferably with 5+ years within the Cloud Domain (Azure, AWS or GCP)
- Strong experience with Amazon Web Services and all supporting technologies
- Experience in DevOps, SecOps, or SysOps in a large enterprise environment.
- Experience working with automation tools and cloud management tools
- Familiarity with IP networking concepts such as VPN, DNS, load balancers, firewalling.
- Experience with on-premises infrastructure as well as public and hybrid cloud methodologies.
- Experience in Linux operating systems
- Certificatied as AWS Solution Architect (associate or professional)

- Possess the ability to rapidly assimilate new information and new techniques
- Be a strong presenter and fluent in English both verbally and written
- Be able to think pragmatically and provide sound analysis and problem resolution
