The department
JACK & JONES E-commerce is a young and dynamic department driven by the ambition to become the leading online shop within the fashion industry. You will join our in-house digital team, consisting of elite designers and developers, focused on consistently delivering high quality sites and projects. We work in close collaboration with colleagues from our global sites scattered across the world – and we are all committed to making jackjones.com the preferred place for online shopping.
The job
You will join the team building the frontend and backend of our online presence with a focus on great user experience and usability. Our online approach has always been customer oriented, and we will go to great lengths to understand, plan and execute the best strategies to ensure that our visitor and customer objectives are met. Here you will work with all aspects of our online universe – from building complete sites or web applications, to ensuring new inspirational online content and optimising the frontend of our online store. Thereby, you are involved in projects from start to finish, focusing specifically on areas like UX and UI.

While experience and a relevant educational background is a plus, we value passion and a strong portfolio above all.
Personality
You are passionate about what you do, and get a kick when the project you have worked on is launched. You thrive on challenges, and are keen on learning to constantly expand your knowledge and skillset. In addition, you are motivated by utilising new technologies and techniques to ensure that our sites and projects are cutting edge. You have a cooperative attitude and solid communication skills, enabling you to build and maintain relations across the entire business.

Qualifications
- Prior experience as a developer
- Working proficiency in HTML, CSS and JavaScript
- Understanding of XML and JSON data
- An ability to effectively convey information, concepts and ideas to others
- Fluent English, both written and spoken.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of Salesforce Commerce Cloud
- Knowledge of JavaScript frameworks such as Vue.js and React
- Knowledge of Git, CI, unit tests and functional tests
- Knowledge of AWS Services
- Basic knowledge of Photoshop and creative work.
