Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy Service Maintenance Engineering department is a part of the Service organization with more than 30 years of experience in servicing wind turbines all over the world. The department ensures maintenance development, implementation and maintenance support for all turbine models in respect to the legacy fleet and future products. It is a growing international organization having a large interface to the rest of the company.
For our Service Engineering Maintenance Strategy department, we are looking for an experienced SAP Asset Configuration IT Architect to join the Asset Configuration and Spare Part Team. The Asset Configuration and Spare Part Team is responsible for the Technical Master Data of the turbines Siemens Gamesa has produced and is currently servicing. This includes the configuration of the turbine master data, including documentation, bill of material etc.
About the role
You will be responsible for creating an IT Architecture and future configuration set up for our turbine structure of legacy turbines in SAP and help develop and implement improvements into the current SAP system and help transform and migrate current data structure to our new SAP systems; SAPs4Hana and SAP AIN.
You will create an IT architecture for future systems for the Asset Configuration team and determine the future configuration set up for our turbine structure. You will align the current SAP structure with the RDS-PP T32 structure that is our new structure set up. We would like you to optimize our SAP processes and support implementation of our overall strategy. Our current data structure needs to be transformed and migrated into our new SAP system that will be SAPs4Hana. We want you to improve our current processes with new SAP transactions and upload tools like WinShuttle. We would like you to support and participate in different SAP projects across departments and scrutinize records coming in a variety of formats for data clean up. We want you to strengthen the cross-departmental collaborations so that the overall process map flows in a more effective way.
You will create IT demands in order to improve the Master Data and the structure in SAP. You will help influence areas of Material Master Data, BoM task list and maintenance plans for CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System). You will align with Material Master Management on guidelines for processes and definitions. We want you to drive and develop Asset Configuration and Management, RCM - Reliability Centeret Management, and do analytics based on Data Driven Business. You will be participating in relevant Master Data Communities and act as a bridging partner between strategic and operational departments.
About you
You have a Bachelor or Master education within the field of engineering, economics, data science or similar. You have extensive knowledge of SAP transactions and how to do extracts of SAP. You have extensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel. You have knowledge of reporting tools like Tableau, Power BI or others. If you have knowledge of RDS-PP coding, RCM, CMMS and WinShuttle, it is an advantage. You have excellent English skills. You have a structured and organized approach to your tasks and like to work in a team and you are detail oriented and like working with complex data
