At Semco Maritime we are working intensively with digital development and innovative solutions. Therefore, we are looking for a new Software Engineer to be a part of our digital journey as we look towards the future of our digitalization process.
You will be joining our Semco IT team, and you will be reporting directly to the Head of Development and Applications.
Your tasks & responsibilities
As our new Software Engineer you will be responsible for the development and integration tasks across the Semco Maritime application portfolio. Furthermore, you will ensure relevant documentation, hand-on development and assist in the area of process automation.

- Defining the technical requirements and specifications needed for applications in alignment with the main stakeholders
- Ensure that key people are informed and updated on development progress and kept up to date with relevant opportunities
- Daily development tasks related to hands-on execution, error handling and testing
- Identifying and driving opportunities to improve the application development area
Your profile & qualifications
We imagine that you are someone has a passion for agile development, process automation and integrations. Furthermore, you must be pro-active and driven in your work as well as have excellent communication skills in written and oral English.
To succeed in this position, we expect that you:
- Have approximately 3 years of experience working as a professional in the field of software/IT
- Knowledge of C#, Net. React and Sharepoint development. Experience with Python is an advantage
- Knowledge of Oracle in a Windows environment
- Experience in working with MS Windows Servers, SQL Servers, Rest API and Webparts
- Knowledge from working with Robotics and machine learning
