The leading Nordic manufacturer and retailer of gaming equipment is looking for an experienced backend developer.
Shark Gaming develops and produces high-end gaming equipment. We sell it under our own brand directly to end users, eSports associations and companies via our Nordic webshops. We are growing and have high ambitions for further international expansion. To support the journey, we are currently looking for a sharp backend developer.

You will be developing our online store in Adobe Commerce on Cloud, integrating third party plugins, integrations and accounting software. You will have a key role in building custom solutions for our shop to ensure our ambitious goals as a nordic market leader in gaming systems.
You will be a part of the development team which consists of our CTO, you and a Full Stack Developer.
The main tasks of the position are:
We expect that you have a strong background in object oriented php, and preferably have been building custom solutions in Magento (2) Open Source, Adobe Commerce or Adobe Commerce on Cloud.
You are insatiable on web development, new trends and clean code. And have the ability to keep a cool mind, maintain structure and overview in a fast-paced scale up.
It will be a big plus if you are a gamer (i.e. on a hobby level), so you understand and have insight into our world.

- Working in Adobe Commerce on Cloud in collaboration with our Full Stack Developer
- Working with continuous integrations and clean code
- Ensure scalability for rapid international expansion
- Integrate third party modules and integrations
- Build custom solutions for webshop and configuration options
- Monitor and ensure professional performance, also in peak traffic
- Ensure caching and page speed is optimal
- Provide data sources for business intelligence
We expect that you have a strong background in object oriented php, and preferably have been building custom solutions in Magento (2) Open Source, Adobe Commerce or Adobe Commerce on Cloud.

- +5 years experience with object oriented PHP, MVC
- Experience with MySQL and database structures
- Experience with Magento (2) Open Source, Adobe Commerce or Adobe Commerce on Cloud
- Worked in Git/flow
- Experience with composer/npm
- Experience with REST APIs
A big plus if you have:
- Certification in Magento 2 development
- Worked with the continuous delivery approach
- Experience with JS Automation Tasks (grunt/gulp)
- Experience with Docker
- Experience with Redis, Memcached or similar
- Experience with Apache/nginx, hosting in general
