Are you ready to unfold your technical expertise as you become our new IT service management specialist?
At DSV, you will be a welcome addition to our dedicated – and very social – development team, where you and your colleagues will share a very varied workday.
We are embarking on an exciting journey to transition, implement and operate with an increasingly scalable ITSM solution with an enterprise approach as the guiding principle. This requires a re-implementation of our ITSM tool, which will be accompanied with a full process redesign – and this is where you come in.
Welcome to our ITSM Development team
Your new team – ITSM Development – is based at the DSV HQ in Hedehusene, and we are responsible for our Cherwell ITSM application. We are an international team, currently consisting of 5 developers, 1 requirement analyst and 1 operational delivery manager.
Our team collaborate across locations in Denmark, Portugal, and Poland to ensure that our Service Desk has the best possible service management tool available. And though we are located at different locations, you will quickly feel our heartfelt team spirit, as we know each other well and work closely together.

Develop new functionalities in our ITSM tool
As our new solution architect, you will be responsible for designing and developing new functionalities to our existing ITSM tool, as well as assisting with the maintenance. Doing so, you will receive thorough training regarding our ITSM tool and processes, ensuring that you are ready to become our technical specialist.
Stepping into a dynamic and agile work environment, you will be working in sprints as you tackle different development tasks.
You will also partake in the creation of problem-solving procedures, and you will:
Technical architect with solid analytical skills and a proactive approach
You are a natural at stakeholder management and a skilled communicator, as you reach out to colleagues within the team as well as users, asking the right questions, seeking knowledge and ensuring that the user needs are met.

You will also partake in the creation of problem-solving procedures, and you will:
- Assist with root cause analysis and help create technical documentation
- Implement new integrations regarding optimisation of e.g. our service desk
- Take part in ITSM extension projects
- Participate in meetings with our users to understand needs, products and services
- Create detailed technical requirements including workflows and forms – and work with users to ensure these reflect their needs
Technical architect with solid analytical skills and a proactive approach
You are a natural at stakeholder management and a skilled communicator, as you reach out to colleagues within the team as well as users, asking the right questions, seeking knowledge and ensuring that the user needs are met.
Also, we imagine that you have:
- Knowledge of working with ITSM tools such as BMC Remedy, Service Now and/or Cherwell/Ivanti ITSM, and if you have experience with implementing ITIL processes, it is a plus
- Experience working in an agile environment, e.g. with Scrum or Kanban
- Know your way around MS SQL database
- Basic programming skills, such as Java, .NET or other scripting languages
- Speak and write English fluently
