Designing IT and business in a transformational programme
We are in a technological transformation to Cloud and DevOps where you as Solution Architect will play an integral role; by adding your knowledge and expertise to help shape the future.
As a Solution Architect in Road IT you will be designing the technical solutions to best serve the Road division; involving the transition and co-existence of modern and legacy platforms.
You will work to deliver the best solutions to dsv Road by working with the Product Owners of our Agile/DevOps delivery organization, the technical specialists and architects in the rest of Global IT as well as important stakeholders in business and executive management. Here you will communicate clearly with ease to both stakeholders and the business.
Some of the assignments you can look forward to as part of the team will be:
Shaping the future business and IT solution landscape
The ideal candidate can come from either an architectural background working closely with products and development teams or a development background working at product and architecture.
As the Solution Architect you are passionate about applying new technologies and methodologies to solve real business problems. You create the structure necessary to provide the overview of complex situations.
As well as visions to lead the specialists in delivering high quality solutions. You enjoy working independently and interact with all levels of the organization. Additionally, you have:

- Design and modernize the architecture of our best-of-breed systems
- Design new solutions using our Azure Cloud platform
- Design and governing the effort on performance and scaling of our services for Road
- Support the Product Owners in designing cross product solutions
- Supporting the Agile development teams to ensure smooth implementation of new solutions
- Helping the organisation adopt new cloud technologies and methodologies

As well as visions to lead the specialists in delivering high quality solutions. You enjoy working independently and interact with all levels of the organization. Additionally, you have:
- A relevant degree within IT or engineering
- 5+ years of experience from similar positions within development and solution architecture
- Hands on knowledge of cloud technologies, preferably Microsoft Azure
- Experience working with Agile development and DevOps
- Experience working in an international transformation programme
- Great communication skills, and speak and write English fluently
