Introduction to the position
As an Integration Architect, you will be responsible of the integration architecture relating to Bavarian Nordic’s solutions. You will have a key role in designing, creating, deploying and manage integrations and work with data architecture which will be used across the organization. Thus, you will among other things be responsible for developing an efficient strategy, creating roadmaps and standardizing processes from a structural point of view.
Over the next 12-18 months Bavarian Nordic will be implementing several new system integration use cases for Commercial, Finance, and Supply chain. Additionally, Bavarian Nordic are also planning to embark upon data and analysis projects up in their bulk and finished goods facilities. This brings along the need for many new features and a well-established foundation architecture to be implemented in their Integration setup and this requires a skilled Integration Architect to focus on effective and compliant implementation.
As an Integration Architect you will be responsible for standardization and transformation of miscellaneous integration scenarios. More specifically, you will take part in deciding and developing a strategy for how Bavarian Nordic are to work with public cloud integrations in the future in a Microsoft Azure environment.

- Implement integration disciplines, governance and security
- Test and introduction of new interchange formats and methods for design, extraction, and transformation
- Development of strategy and roadmap
- Standardizing processes and frameworks
- Maintain and optimize integration methods and sources
- Help develop the integration aspect of our customers Digital strategy
- Manage integration deliverables from 3rd parties in projects
- Manage, test, and document the integration setup
- Support the use of the solutions in the production
Technical requirements
We expect you have the following experience and competences:
- Experience as an integration architect / solution architect
- Experience with Integration platforms and disciplines - primarily in a Microsoft environment.
- Experience with Public Cloud and PaaS – preferably Microsoft Azure (or AWS / GCP / OCI)
- Experience with Integration platforms and disciplines - primarily in a Microsoft environment.
- See security and access management as a natural and important part of your tasks
