Do you have software engineering and software architecture experience within technical and industrial environments working with big data, IoT and user experience? Do you have the motivation and ambition to make the world a better place to live? Hydrogen as a green alternative to fossil fuels must be made commercially. Everfuel has the vision and plans ready and the projects are continuously rolling into the order book, so that is why a number of new positions are being created – are you the next Everfueller?
Everfuel is the new fuel company in Europe – providing green hydrogen for larger vehicle fleets like buses, trucks and taxies. Everfuel provides the missing link between renewable energy and green transportation as a partner, owner and operator of PtX plants, hydrogen distribution and hydrogen fueling stations.
About the position
As Senior Software Engineer you will be responsible for building solid, efficient and reliable software architectures and systems supporting the value stream of Everfuel. The goal is to create a unique user experience for our customers (from private users to fleet operators) and generate value from data and interactions streamlining the entire operation. This involves data collection from PtX plants, logistics and fueling stations in order to evaluate actual and live performance and to provide data for continuous improvement. All design choices, systems and data must meet requirements towards data safety and should be based on Cloud technology. You will be working in close collaboration with subcontractors of UX design, Hydrogen fueling stations, PtX plants, and other external partners.
You will be responsible for:
- Specifications and coordinating activities related to the owned workflows
- Reviews, verifications, and integrations of workflows and architecture
- User experience and App development
- Quality-analysis reporting (defining KPI’s, regular reporting and driving continuous improvement)
- Continuous alignment with subcontractors
- Tool upgrades, to obtain confidence in the toolchain and test environment
- Project management and cross-organizational teamwork
Your work day will be very changeable and you move quickly between the operational and the strategic. You refer to the company’s CTO, Uffe Borup. The company currently consists of 7 employees. Three new hires will be completed at the beginning of 2020 and by the end of 2020, the organization is expected to have grown to 15-20 employees. At Everfuel you have the opportunity to show that you are the man of the future and through your results you can show that you can be the Team Lead of the department.
About you
You will be building up a new software function at Everfuel and therefore you must have experience at senior level as software engineer, software architect or the like where you are used to making specifications and deciding architecture. Experience with Cloud Technology, IoT, data safety (GDPR) and databases is preferred. You hold an education as engineer within electronics, mechatronics or similar. You have passion for renewable energy and must have the drive and courage to lead the way from plan to reality, and you must be close to the tasks and have attention for the details but without losing yourself into the details. You must be good at stakeholder management and you have a fine sense of timely care. You have a holistic mindset, and always know the big picture. You work from the office in Høgild near Herning but must expect travel activity.

You are strong at communication and your Danish and English are at the negotiating level both verbal and written. If you also know other languages, this is an advantage. Everfuel uses Dynamics 365 as an ERP system, which is why experience with Dynamics is an advantage.
