As a Solutions Architect in DSV Solutions IT, you will join a team of solution architects that are responsible for automations and IT used in the solutions division in DSV. Here is where the fun begins as Solutions works with the latest technologies, including drones and robots used in the DSV warehouses.
Join an international department
Solutions IT is in the process of building up a team of solution architects to support the business in their existing and future endeavors. You will be designing solutions, based in current DSV governance, to enable DSVs digital transformation and give us a competitive edge.
DSV Solutions IT spans to all DSV countries, thus some traveling may be required.
The position will be based on the DSV offices in Horsens or Kolding.
TASKS:
• Compile High Level and Detailed architecture designs from business requirements
• Use DSV standards and patterns in designs as defined in cooperation with Enterprise architecture (EA).
• Facilitate the approval process of architecture designs
• Facilitate in IT audits
• Keep all Solutions IT architecture documentation up to date
• Ensure design focus on standardization, scalability, stability, sustainability, security, and cost effectiveness
• Assist in root cause analysis exercises
• Assist in IT service agreements and audits
• Participate in Architecture activities
OUR REQUIREMENTS:
• experience in working in a global team, multi-cultural and multilingual organization. As English is the official company language, you need to be skilled in verbal as well as in written communication. Danish is not a requirement.
• experience in Supply Chain Management, and/or Contract Logistics will be a plus.
• experience and/or knowledge of the following: application architecture, data architecture, technical architecture, it governance and security, WMS, TMS, TOGAF, Visio, UML
• strong interpersonal and communication skills
• ability to determine problems and co-ordinate appropriate solutions
• analytical skills (e.g., storing information, data management, mining data, learning and following procedures)
• business & financial acumen (analyzing financial information, dealing with complexity, problem solving, using sound judgment)
• customer-oriented and results driven attitude (being dependable, being persistent/overcoming barriers, being productive, being resourceful, demonstrating work ethic, drive to achieve goals, IT compliance, prioritizing, reading, taking initiative, taking ownership, working autonomously, project management skills)
• change management skills (e.g., learning agility, adapting to change)
• ability to work under pressure and commit to deadlines.

- Be involved on the evolution on the solutions business landscape
- Advice business on new technologies and methods
- Advice in mergers and acquisitions on how the migration of automation and other solutions related systems must be performed
- In cooperation with EA define standards and ensure these are followed throughout the process
- Act as technical PM supporting the solutions where is needed
- Innovator, who seeks and develops ideas and handles innovation projects.
- Solutions IT Standardisation
- Define and document exceptions and maintain architectural model
- Merge similar systems
- Secure by design
