We are looking for a Full-stack Senior Engineer to join our newly created team responsible for designing and developing all layers of our new Ads product. You will add new product features and coordinate with the rest of the teams working on different parts of the infrastructure.
Siteimprove Ads team focus on optimizing paid search to drive more traffic on our customer’s website, and we're tasked on finding the best way to increase ads conversion to make every dollar count. We love pragmatism, and we build software that requires a broad spectrum of technical language experience, framework understanding, and software environments - we expect you to know where to reach in the toolbox. We also encourage open source contributions and community participation.

We are looking for a Full-stack Senior Engineer to join our newly created team responsible for designing and developing all layers of our new Ads product. You will add new product features and coordinate with the rest of the teams working on different parts of the infrastructure.

Responsibilities
- Design and implementation of new features in the new Ads product
- Ensuring the entire stack is designed and built for speed and scalability
- Design and construction of our microservices hosted in Kubernetes
- Design and implementation of continuous integration and deployment
- Work together with the product owner, UX/UI designers, operations specialists, testers and fellow developers to shape nothing less than great solutions for our customers
- Take part in and improve on the way we develop software
- Understand what other teams are doing, help them, take action when you see problems on the horizon
What we require of you
- Have at least 3 years of professional experience building web platform solutions
- Strong knowledge of .NET Framework and/or .NET Core
- Proficient in C# and javascript
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs, knowledge of GRPC is a plus
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools
- Be fluent in spoken and written English
- Thrive working in an iterative development process, being a strong, independent problem-solver
- Be proud of what you deliver to end users
- You need to have practical knowledge of agile development and continuous delivery. You should be equipped to challenge and tune our processes, and you should be ready to mentor us in your favorite practices
What we'll love about you
- Be outstanding with modern programming languages, frontend and backend
- Familiarity with a relevant and globally supported framework – both front-end and back-end, if necessary – React, Vue
- Familiarity with AWS
- Experience in server management and deployment for the relevant environment
- A passion for building accessible interfaces that everyone, regardless of ability or disability can use, is a huge plus
- That you’re a self-driven, creative, inquisitive individual possessing lots of drive, aiming to join a team of skilled colleagues, whom you can inspire, and who can inspire you towards delivering a world class product
- We use Slack for a lot of our communication. If you are up to the task of adding another Slackbot to our system, let us know! We also have an internal Raspberry Pi project that always could use a new feature.
