Reporting to the Head of Enterprise Technology & Security Architecture, the Enterprise Industrial Architect will have responsibility across Maersk One Technology. This is a new, critical role responsible for defining the mid to long term enterprise Industrial Architecture strategy, blueprints and roadmaps. You will be a key technical authority on all system and solution design activity, driving standardisation, compliance and consistency in the definition and application of patterns and principles - ensuring that Industrial security best practice is embedded in our Industrial Enterprise IT environment. You will be operating in a zone between traditional Industrial IT (like SCADA systems) and the Enterprise IT setup in Warehouses, Terminals and vessels

Business Acumen
Responsible for monitoring industrial market trends like Industrial 4.0 and developing an in-depth understanding of emerging technologies and the associated risks and opportunities.
Captures and prioritises market and environmental trends, business strategies and objectives, and identifies the business benefits of alternative strategies; understanding the relevance for the Maersk Integrator Strategy.
You understand Assets, predictive maintenance, Digital Twin, IOT and can translate the “what” and “how” into business outcomes… explain the “why”.
Current Industrial Landscape
Contribute to the definition, capturing and maintenance of the critical information required to model the organisation’s current industrial landscape.
Performs strategic assessment of current capabilities and how well these capabilities are compliant with our policies and standards.
Identifies strategic issues and opportunities for improvement.
Accountable for leading and making decisions on all aspects of Industrial Architecture across major IT programmes.
Contributing to the development of enterprise-wide architecture blueprints, patterns and processes which ensure that the strategic application of Industrial Architecture is embedded in the management of the IT environment.
Ensuring that all designs, blueprints and artefacts are maintained and adhere to good practice and recognised industry frameworks like NIST, ISA95 etc.
Future Vision
Contributing to the mid to long term enterprise Industrial Architecture strategy to ensure Maersk derive more value from its assets at lower cost.
Develops enterprise-wide architectures, patterns and reference information for use by Projects, Application Development teams and Service Operations and Engineering teams within Maersk IT.
Governance
Ensures compliance with preferred strategic direction, setting strategies supported by relevant policies, standards and practices.
Contributes to the overall Enterprise Architecture Governance model and promote the Industrial related EA principles.
•Set a relevant and inspiring direction for the future of Industrial Architecture spanning +600 vessels, +100 warehouses and +50 terminals. Maersk has a large scale IOT implementation running for our Reefers today and have lots of interesting projects in this area.
•Coach, mentor and collaborate with peers, solution architects, development teams and project teams to achieve successful outcomes.
And be able to demonstrate:
•Expert level experience in enterprise Industrial architecture, combined with a good broad Enterprise IT experience.
•Expert level experience in Cloud architecture and design, preference for Azure skills.
•Expert level experience in enterprise level architecture and design (TOGAF, SABSA, Zachman) and a clear understanding of Industrial architecture frameworks and their alignment across enterprise architecture domains (ISA95).
•A transformational mindset using an approach of persuasion and encouragement that embeds sustainable capabilities.
•Experience of working within Agile and Waterfall environments
•Fostering great relationships without direct authority across functional boundaries and geographies.
•Proven ability to make pragmatic short-term decisions whilst aligning with a long-term strategic outcome.
•Ability to execute on a global scale.
