Maersk Technology is looking to strengthen our capability with an experienced Architect to join our successful team.

Joining Maersk will embark you on a great journey with career development in a global organisation. As Solution Archtect you will gain broad business knowledge of the company’s activities globally, as well as understand how the complexity of IT supports the transport and logistics business.
You will be exposed to a wide and challenging range of business issues through regular engagement with key stakehold-ers across all management levels within Maersk.
Key responsibilities
• Ensure technical realization of IT solutions for products Azure Cloud; designed and implemented in accordance with organizational guidelines, EA standards and best practices.
• Influencing and enabling architecture strategy and governance in accordance with business and enterprise architecture vision.
• Working closely with feature teams and enterprise architects to ensure overall integrity and scalability of solutions.
• Able to support the development and design of bespoke system or solution using approved technologies within the Maersk Technology.
• Translation of business, information and technical requirements into an architectural model that outlines the most appropriate solutions to achieve critical business objectives.
• Working and designing with a DevOps mindset to further continuous enablement.
• Acting as focal point and subject matter expert for application and integration within area of responsibility.

• Solution and architecture design; ArchiMate and UML modelling
• API and event centric and abstract service design; cloud technology (Azure), microservice design, cloud native apps; design for DevOps and automation
• Enterprise wide application integration experience from past
• Stakeholder management be it Lead Developers or Business Owners
• Ability to work independently and with others in a team environment
• Business acumen including knowledge of current sector and business strategies and tactics.
• It is mandatory to have strong skills around - application and integration architecture, using Micro-Services, API, K8S, and a mindset to deliver event driven architecture
• IT lifecycle and governance, agile methods, requirements management, quality management
• Knowledge of BIZZ Design Enterprise Studio would be an added advantage
• Togaf certification would be an added advantage
• Hands on experience or knowledge of Azure components would be an added advantage
