Leadership role in the design, implementation and operations of a key module in the system responsible for de-carbonization of our fleet
Write robust scalable code and ensure there is sufficient coverage with automated tests
Investigate and prototype new technologies and services
Be able to work end-to-end: design, prototype, implement, test and optimize software, alongside others in a talented and highly engaged team of software engineers, data scientists, and subject matter experts.
Operate in a scrum team with a dedicated product owner, independently directing your time and resources together with other software engineers.
Contribute to the wider engineering community at Maersk, sustaining and constantly improving processes, culture, and technical landscape to ensure we are leading global trade in the next century.

Minimum Experience and Qualifications:
Experienced with industry experience working on software applications and products
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, STEM or similar degree
Fluency in backend development with C # inside of the .NET / .NET Core, with preference for the latter
Experience with at least one modern JavaScript framework, like React, that uses TS
Cloud knowledge and experience with at least one cloud provider like AWS, GCP or Azure
CI/CD experience with Azure DevOps, CircleCI, Jenkins or similar
Excellent written and verbal skills in English and ability to collaborate well with people at all levels of the organization
Experience, Knowledge, and Qualifications that would be interesting for us:
Knowledge of HTTP 2, and are looking forward to HTTP 3; gRPC framework
Experience in middle tier/backend technologies such as .NET, Golang, relational (PostgreSQL) and/or non-relational (NoSQL) databases.
Interested in distributed systems
Familiar with Kubernetes, Docker, Mesos or Service Fabric
Knowledge of best practices for user interface design (UI/UX) and user research
Comfortable working with HTML and CSS in collaboration with designers, and passionate about product work leading to a great user experience
Familiar with front end that is cross-browser and cross-device friendly through responsive or adaptive techniques
Familiarity with browser testing and debugging
Interested in a business facing role, interacting with stakeholders and capturing feedback about needs and requirements
