DFDS has embarked on a fascinating journey to expand our offerings to our customers, and we have a clear ambition of growing far beyond our current size. Getting there will mean taking action on opportunities in the acquisition space and we will need to excel in the balancing act of integrating new colleagues into the DFDS family while digitizing processes, ways of working and parts of our existing business model.

We are therefore looking for a highly skilled and deeply motivated M&A Enterprise Architect, so if mergers & acquisitions, challenges aplenty, PMI and the opportunity to help define how we work in an international environment appeals to you, then this might be the next opportunity for you!

The position is part of the Core Transformation & Integrations Tribe (CT&I) in the Technology and Innovation Division (T&I) of DFDS, where you will get a direct, transparent, and empowering manager who welcomes challenges and encourages continued learning.

This is where you come into the picture!

In the role of being an M&A Enterprise Architect, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Play an active role in large, complex regional & global projects throughout the M&A life cycle; including early discovery, due diligence, requirements definition, planning, development, testing, training, assessing operational readiness, change management and ongoing support
  • Establish effective relationships with key stakeholders in the relevant T&I teams as well as those within the organization of the acquired company
  • Advance corporate knowledge on best practices and document lessons learned through continued buildout of integration playbook and associated artifacts
  • Identify PMI related risks and take ownership for developing mitigation plans
  • Measure performance and operational resilience related to architecture platforms, systems, practices and methodologies across DFDS
