You will join our Global IT Infrastructure & Operation department
As our new Cloud Architect you will play a global strategic role in managing a multi-cloud platform as the foundation for our new Digital IT Services offered to Ramboll’s Digital & Innovation teams within all our business units. Our Digital IT Services help improving our tech-enabled consultancy business through fit-for-purpose cloud platform and advisory services. You will be part of a global team working out of the Nordic countries, UK, Germany, USA and India. We have a strong collaboration culture and retain high employee satisfaction.

Your key tasks and responsibilities will be:
- Manage the development and adoption of our multi-cloud platform
- Work closely with our IT security and Enterprise architecture to ensure compliance and alignment
- Collaborate with Ramboll’s Digital & Innovation teams closely, advising them on cloud architecture
- Support us staying relevant by regularly evaluating existing and upcoming cloud solutions
- Contribute to our Cloud and Digital IT Services strategies
Your starting point for constant growth
From the moment you join Ramboll, we will support your personal and professional development so that you grow with the company. For this role, we believe your starting point is:
- Bachelor’s degree (B.Sc. in Computer Science or similar)
- 8+ years of experience in the IT industry in general
- Technical expertise in cloud and on-prem computing, storage and networking architecture
- Good understanding of various services and solutions - SaaS, IaaS, PaaS along with all cloud models (public, private, hybrid, multi)
- In-depth architecture knowledge and 3+ years of experience with the leading public cloud providers – preferably with more than one of AWS, GCP, Azure
- Proven track record in architecting and managing cloud migrations
Personal qualities that will help you succeed in this role include:
- The ability to build relationships and trust, so your business colleagues see you as their partner, focusing on creating value for the business
- The ability to understand and navigate a complex, relationship-based matrix organization to achieve key objectives
- Being able to adopt a team-oriented approach to solving problems
