We are looking for a DevOps Linux Engineer with a broad knowledge and desire to work with Linux systems in many different configurations and setups, and to develop tools to automate the process of creating and supporting these.

About this opportunity
Welcome to the Unix Engineering team. We add value by providing and supporting a flexible, high performance Linux platform where the business part of the bank can deploy and run their applications. As DevOps Linux Engineer you’ll play a valuable role in defining and improving procedures and in automating processes. You will gather customers’ needs and requirements and work with them to translate these into a working and standardized solution.
What you will be doing:
- Participate in 3rd level Linux support
- Participate in a SAFe agile team
- Develop tools and automated Linux based solutions
- Help drive, promote, and implement DevOps, CI/CD, TDD, and agile methodology
You will join a dynamic, fun loving, highly dedicated and motivated bunch of nerds.
The role is based in Copenhagen or Gdynia.

Your experience and background:
- Experience with Bash and dynamic languages like Python, Perl and Ruby
- Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet or Chef
- Basic VMware, Network, Windows, Cloud Services and Docker knowledge
- Software development tools like GIT and Jira
- Must be adaptable and able to focus on the simplest, most efficient & reliable solutions
- Excellent written and interpersonal communication, and documentation skills
- Ability to communicate technical concepts both up and down the management chain
- Fluency in English
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- 10 years of work-related experience
Additionally desired skills:
- Solaris 10 and 11
- Veritas Infoscale/Cluster
- Eager to learn and stay abreast of new technologies and methodologies
