Monsenso is looking for dedicated Software Developers. You will work with a variety of languages, frameworks, and technologies. Monsenso is a passionate team dedicated to designing innovative mobile health (mHealth) technology that helps people, care providers and societies overcome the burden of mental illness.
Modern mobile and cloud-based technologies lie at the root of the company, which was founded on the idea that large-scale collection and analysis of data can be used to provide patients, clinicians, and researchers with a detailed and unique insight into mental health.
Monsenso is looking for ambitious Software Developers – (both on a junior and senior level) – to engage in the development of the Monsenso mHealth platform. As a software developer, you will be a part of the entire lifecycle of the product – from discussing specifications with clinicians and customers to quality assurance and deployment. You will be a part of our growing team of software developers, and we are looking for people with an academic background in computer science or software engineering with extensive technical experience as a software developer, engineer, or architect. You should have experience applying agile software development processes as well as quality assurance methodology and technology.
Key responsibilities
As a Software Developer, you will be a part the technical implementation of all our solutions, which includes work within areas of:
- Requirement specification
- System architecture and security
- Server-side service and database development
- Frontend web development
- Mobile development
- Quality assurance
- Documentation and compliance
The core technology stack consists of a noSQL database (CouchBase); a Microsoft .NET web services infrastructure build using NancyFX; Angular (TypeScript) for web page development, and Ionic / Cordova (TypeScript) for phone app development. In addition to this, we work with a broad range of frameworks and technologies for e.g., end2end testing and data science analysis. We are agile in our development process and use scrum-based methods.

Desired Skills and Expertise
Monsenso expects the successful candidate to:
- Hold a master’s degree in computer science or software engineering (MSc).
- Have solid programming experience in modern programming languages and technologies for “full-stack”
programming, like HTML/CSS, TypeScript, .NET, Java, Kotlin, Swift, NoSQL databases, web services (REST), OAuth, etc. - Have knowledge and experience of Scrum-based agile development
- A good overview of challenges and constraints as well as emerging technologies and opportunities in IT architecture and infrastructure
- Have good communications skills – orally as well as in writing.
- Take ownership of complex tasks and be a strong self-motivator.
- Be fluent in English and German, Spanish, French, Swedish or Danish.
