Boost the competitive edge of LEO Pharma by heading the digital innovation development in LEO Innovation Lab

Established by LEO Pharma as a small and agile organization, LEO Innovation Lab is built to drive radical innovation to bring their creation to market faster. LEO Innovation Lab drives digital innovation across LEO Pharma by building and progressing a pipeline of digital innovation projects.
With direct report to Executive Vice President, CFO the ambition will be to drive a cross organisational effort to exploit the present momentum and drive digital innovation, building revenue, setting and executing the LEO Innovation Lab strategy for creating a competitive edge for the future.
As VP LEO Innovation Lab you will have the authority to set and execute the LEO Innovation Lab strategy, be a strong people manager for 10-15 FTE, allocate budgets and resources within the function and to be a member of different internal and external boards. You will oversee CoE (Center of Excellence) digital governance and manage LEO Innovation Lab Holding Co., and you must nurture a strong internal network with leaders on digital transformation and innovation.

Your main tasks:
- Identify, develop, prototype and test new digital innovation projects
- Create a consistent digital environment across LEO Pharma
- Collaborate and network to identify innovation opportunities associated to existing and upcoming business issues
- Leverage business intelligence data sourced through different customer touch points to create personalized products and services
- Manage enterprise priorities for building or buying capabilities; define investments needed
- Build a strong internal consultancy setup from internal collaboration, projects and external partnerships
- Establish and drive internal innovation deploying “100 days innovation sprints” Hackatons etc. to help LOB sharpen problems to solve
- Responsible for external network and for a close collaboration with IT
Your qualifications:
- An academic background and at least 10-15 years of relevant work experience
- Experience from a Chief Innovation Officer-like role, preferably in a healthcare/pharma company
- Strong leader of successful digital and innovation transformations
- Experience from innovative and successful start-up environment
- Business acumen for identification and prioritizing of the most valuable projects
- Strong stakeholder management
