YOUR MISSION & RESPONSIBILITIES AHEAD OF YOU

GANNI is on an exciting growth journey with a goal to become a digital first direct to consumer brand - on that journey the digital development department will be key to build an agile infrastructure around our systems. This is a new role within the team therefore we are looking for an impact maker that is able to set the direction. We believe that this role will be in the center of the action where technology meets business.

The Architect will work within the development area of the team responsible for architecture for end-to-end workflows. Strong focus will be on refreshing our landscape, creating and defining a holistic view on how to deliver a best-of-breed integration platform whether it is based on Microservices, API Gateway, Kafka/Event-hub or something else is up to you. We believe you will be a key-player to help us define and create a plan on how to build future proof, scalable and stable integrations between our systems for our current and future business needs.

You find smart solutions to how to implement new systems since you will be responsible for how transformation projects should be implemented such as PIM, PLM. We also believe that you are able to identify opportunities in our landscape and you give recommendations on how we can optimize with what we currently have through new integrations such as API’s. You plan, you communicate, and you execute.

You will play a key role in the initial phases of the projects by analyzing and creating designs. While you will be an adviser throughout the whole project phase working closely with the project manager. We believe that you sometimes need to work more hands-on and sometimes need to zoom out to ensure that we are on the right track.

We believe that you have a deep technical background and that you are an experienced player in the industry. You will be a valued team member, collaborator, contributor and thought leader who will secure that the right choices are made. Helping both Project Managers in projects, business leaders with new initiatives and Head of for a more overall perspective. Responsibilities ahead of you

• Understand and visualize current state integration architecture.
• Define and articulate a future state integration strategy, architecture and standards.
• Communicate clearly and confidently the vision on architecture related topics to senior leadership.
• Support integrations throughout the entire application cycle from analysis, design, development, implementation, test, documentation, to monitoring and continuous improvement
• Designing new integration architecture runways for various application landscapes.
• Participate in transformation projects and initiatives and make sure that we utilize new systems and platforms fully.
• Secure and assess that new systems and platforms have a good fit into our landscape and are aligned with the overall strategy.
• Oversee the landscape and identify further improvements that need to be made to ensure stability and scalability.
• Be a go-to technical person for your area of expertise.
• Seeking efficiency in combination with high quality and value to our customers in all architecture decisions
• Contribute and further develop the Tech Strategy within the company.

TO HACK THE SYSTEM, YOU MUST …

• A demonstrable track record as a full stack developer and/or tech lead, driving significant impact.
• Proven experience as a senior software engineer, ideally with exposure to both ‘world-class rapidly growing technology first’ working with customer facing solutions and businesses going thru digital transformation
• Experience of integration platforms, preferable Azure Integration Services e.g. Logic Apps, Function Apps, Azure Service Bus and API management.
• Solid experience of integration technologies, API Design and Management (e.g. REST/SOAP, SWAGGER)
• Be able to make high level design choices of technical standards of platform, software, coding, and tools etc.
• Experience of overseeing a tech-stack, advising on a technical strategy and accelerating on the strategy.
• Experience of assessing new systems and their fit into a new landscape.
• Experience of working from a holistic perspective and translating business needs into a technical plan: design, system and integrations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to engage and communicate with senior business-leaders.
• Experience of working with several external development vendors and vendor management.
• Experience of agile methodology.
• Experience with integration documentation, processes and rules.
