Your main role and responsibilities
The Security Architect (SA) is a critical member of Group IT and will refer to our Director of IT Operations.
Your main role is to act as an interface between our IT Operations and the strategic and process-based requirements and activities across the entire business. This will be achieved in a close collaboration with our Security department and other central stakeholders in our TECH division and across the business. You will also be responsible for working with business and IT stakeholders to balance real-world risks with business drivers such as speed, agility, flexibility, and performance.

The SA is a technical leadership role that requires a strong technical background, as well as an ability to work with both the IT organization and business management to align priorities to achieve key business objectives.
Expertise in executing projects is essential for success in this role, and you must be able to prioritize your work efforts — balancing a degree of operational tasks with longer-term strategic security efforts.
As you will be responsible for managing a highly technical area, you must have excellent skills within technical leadership and stakeholder management, in order accomplish company development goals and keep cyber security on the agenda.

Bear in mind that candidates for this position must be able to obtain a security clearance by the Danish Defence Intelligence Service. This entails that candidates, as a minimum, have stayed within NATO/EU for the last 7 years only interrupted by short stays abroad.

- Translate the IT-risk requirements and constraints of the business into technical control requirements and specifications
- Develop our future security roadmap
- Coordinate the IT organization's technical activities to implement and manage security infrastructure that is aligned with our executive management’s high security requirements and the expectations of our customers.
- Act as an empowered authority on the subject of security and ensure that security measures are incorporated into strategic IT plans.

Professional qualifications
- You have a relevant education i.e., a bachelor's degree or similar in information systems, an IT/business degree or equivalent work experience.
- Solid IT experience with similar tasks e.g., in an information security role or working with security procedures, audit management or other process-related work.
- Relevant Security Certifications such as:
- ISO 27001
- ITIL
- NIST
- Analytical and critical thinking skills, and the ability to identify needs and take initiative are key requirements of the SA's position.
