We are looking for a Project Manager to join our Digital Science Academy team in the Digital & Research Intelligence area at Novo Nordisk. The position As a Project Manager in the Digital Science Academy Team, you will clearly understand the scientific trends and challenges of early drug discovery and research, and you will handle these in agreement with our strategic aspirations for digitalization. Together with the DSA team, you will be able to set the direction for what courses/training should be developed and made available for different employees and research sites. In addition to that, you will:
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to build customised educational learning journeys aligned with the strategic direction of R&ED
  • Facilitate the establishment of tailored courses and programmes within the Digital Science Academy to meet the needs of R&ED
  • Ensure global access to off-the-shelf educational programmes and courses from different academic institutions or companies
  • Monitor and identify new collaboration opportunities to boost the educational aspects of digitalisation
  • Build high-value partnerships with external stakeholders in academia, professional bodies, and the industry
  • Be responsible for the planning, development & implementation of several education/training options relevant to the digitalisation of R&ED
  • Monitor and identify new potential collaboration opportunities for boosting educational aspects of digitalization
  • As Project Manager of the Digital Science Academy, you will report to Carolina Benjaminsen, Senior Director and Head of Digital Science Academy in Digital & Research Intelligence. Qualifications The right candidate will have a strong track record in life science, drug development and preferably also computer science/data science and will use insights in early pharmaceutical research to facilitate the establishment of tailored courses and programmes within the Digital Science Academy to the needs of R&ED. To be successful in this role, we are looking for someone with the following qualifications:
  • A Master's or PhD degree in bioinformatics, computational science, life sciences, data science, or a related field
  • Proven project management experience
  • A passion for digitalisation in early research and drug discovery
  • Strong IT and data science skills
  • Experience developing and executing learning programmes
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills
  • An innate ability to take initiative, solve problems, and collaborate effectively
  • Exceptional communication and presentation abilities
  • Identification with our Novo Nordisk core values
  • They understand new technologies (e.g., AI/ML) and how they fit into our research priorities, can handle complexity and ambiguity in cross-organizational collaborations in a highly dynamic research environment, can multitask, and have a high energy level and a positive attitude. About department Digital Science Academy is part of a department called Digital & Research Intelligence (DRI), which is dedicated to developing and drive external collaborations and ensure access to emerging technologies relevant for the digital transformation of R&ED. DRI provides a modern Scientific Intelligence unit to ensure access to external and internal scientific data and information, operations to facilitate maturation of new ideas and develop and educational framework to drive the digital journey of early research. Digital & Research Intelligence is part of Digital Science & Innovation (DSI), which is set to drive and support digitalization across Research & Early Development (R&ED).
