Do you want to be an important part of creating the “Netflix of images” and work in a fast-paced startup?
We are looking for a Full Stack Developer for our client JumpStory in Aarhus.
JumpStory has been named 'Netflix of images' by a lot of international news media. They make it easy for marketers, designers and other online creatives to find the best and highest performing image every time.
JumpStory is the world's first platform, where you only get high performing images instead of millions of dull and boring stock photos. With AI they optimize their image library to show you purely images with impact - improving your result in communication and marketing by up to 80%. The company was founded in Denmark in 2018, and they already have customers in more than 140 countries and are growing rapidly every day.
Are you into modern web development and have demonstrable experience in building websites and plugins using modern web frameworks and libraries?
As a Full-stack Developer you will join a fast-paced multi-disciplinary team, where you will work with tech and business people to build state of the art websites focusing on both technical performance and amazing UX. Among other things that means participating in their ongoing journey to improve and optimize their tech stack, and since they are a small team, you will have a lot of impact on key decisions and their solutions moving forward.
The person we are looking for has solid knowledge of PHP, Laravel and API-development. You are open-minded and keen to learn in an ever-evolving environment. Furthermore, we need someone who lives and breathes Agile development.
Below are the qualifications we will be expecting of you - you do not need to meet all of them, but any is a plus:
- Software developer with +2 years of experience
- Worked professionally with PHP, Laravel & API-development
- Has experience with some or these technologies: PHP, Laravel, API-udvikling, test driven development, TypeScript, React/Similar frameworks, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, Google Cloud, ElasticSearch, Wordpress, NodeJs and Python
- Focus on getting products in front of users fast
- Passion for creating great solutions for real people
- Proficient in written and spoken English, as English is the work language
You are a curious software engineer with a good knowledge of what it means to work with large and/or distributed systems.
