COWI is extensively expanding into consultancy on major IT systems for building digital twins within the civil works sector, using BIM, GIS and other advanced technologies.
Major constructions (bridges, railways, cities, roads, airports, and tunnels) will be supported by digital twins, from drawings to as-build. Advanced technologies are emerging, and COWI paves the way for our clients to achieve new levels of digital maturity.

The department "Digitalisation and IT" is part of COWI's "Society and Utilities" division that accommodates 550+ information technology, engineering, environment and economics professionals. In "Digitalisation and IT", we specialise in offering consulting services related to digitalisation, automation, geographic information, modelling and asset management.
We offer a unique value proposition to the COWI Group and our clients. The department combines IT and data skills with COWI domains and business knowledge to create optimal solutions that deliver sustainable value to our clients.
OUR MISSION
We aim to offer clients a complete solution for integration and digitalisation within our core domains; BIM, GIS, environment, civil works, automation, asset management and IoT. As a one-stop-shop, we support the entire application lifecycle, encompassing business case development, IT project management, software design, development, configuration, data management, as well as support, maintenance and hosting—all centred on design-based thinking and methods from enterprise-, solution- and system architecture dimensions.
Examples of clients include Danish Regions, Greenlandic Agency for Digitalisation, Copenhagen Metro, the European Union Satellite Centre, the European Commission and many more.

We believe you should be a team player with a strategic and analytical mindset to succeed in this position. In addition, you should be attentive, have a structured work approach, and embrace the idea of developing practical and successful solutions.
It is essential that you have a minimum of 5 years of experience designing and implementing systems architectures. In addition, you have experience setting up and working with integrated infrastructure using multifaceted data. In addition, it would be an advantage if you have considerable experience with working on more significant projects in complex business domains.
It is an advantage if you can answer yes to one or more of the following statements:

- You understand or have experience within business domains concerning civil works or the public infrastructure sector
- You have an understanding of BIM/DAM/CAD disciplines and associated processes, including the concept of a digital twin
- You have experience with IoT platforms and affiliated IoT toolsets
- You have experience with one or more of the following IT modelling and development tools: Sparx Enterprise Architect, MS Visual Studio, MS Azure DevOps, JIRA
- You have experience with some of the following technologies: Wide set of Azure Cloud services and Google Cloud services, ESRI ArcGIS Enterprise, Autodesk BIM 360, Allplan BIMplus and Safe FME
- You have worked with one of the following frameworks: PRINCE2, TOGAF, EA3, ITIL, Archimate, UML, BPMN, SCRUM, Kanban and SAFe
- You have experience as a technology lead on a selected set of technologies and software vendors
- You have experience in technical sales and maintaining good customer relations
- You are fluent in English

- Create systems architecture to support the future workflow and process within IoT/DAM/BIM domain
- Design automated data exchange between BIM and DAM
- Imbed IoT-dataflows into both civil works construction and operation activities
- Support clients in strategic enterprise decisions
- Lead and assist with business, technical and strategic enterprise architecture
- Maintain architectural dialogue with internal and external clients
- Model, design, and communicate the systems for developments and configuration
- Do technical pre-sales work as support to the sales team
- Visit and work with clients at their premises.
- Salary for this position ranges from 3500-5500 EU gross. We believe in your professional capability therefore the final offer will be based on your competencies and experience
