Are you passionate about DevOps, Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery? Do you want to play a key role between development and operation and set the direction for automation of build, test, deploy and monitoring in an agile development environment? Hesehus is looking for a skilled DevOps who will be responsible for further developing and expanding our DevOps strategy across our development teams and take DevOps to the next level.

Hesehus is Denmark’s leading e-commerce house, and we work with some of the most exciting and ambitious customers. Our projects consist of several thousand hours and involves everything from managing multi-site solutions all over the world to advanced integrations for different customer systems.
As our new DevOps, you will be a part of a growing software house with more than 70 dedicated developers and architects. We have a strong focus on high professionalism and quality. Our development teams already work on many of the DevOps principles, - they have responsibility for own build pipeline, deploy and monitoring. You will be responsible for further developing and expanding our DevOps strategy across our development teams and generally take DevOps to the next level in Hesehus. You get an independent role, but with daily contact with developers throughout the organization. You will report to CTO Martin Rud Ehmsen.
Your primary tasks:
Who are you?
We expect that you can and will challenge us on our current processes and tools and that you do so based on a relevant higher education within IT. You have several years of experience from a similar position as DevOps or developer, where you have focused on developing and operating web solutions based on Microsoft technologies such as ASP.NET, C # and SQL Server, etc. You have experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery pipelines with Bitbucket, TeamCity and Octopus Deploy or similar tools as the focal point. It is also a prerequisite that you have experience configurating and monitoring servers e.g. using PRTG or similar technologies.
As a person you are responsible, service minded and accommodating. You are solution-oriented and have a proactive approach which means that you are constantly ready to initiate new initiatives that can improve us and our solutions. You work focused and structured, and you can prioritize and handle many concurrent tasks without losing perspective. You are independent, take ownership of the tasks and it comes naturally to you to think about operation stability, quality and automation in your task solutions. You are motivated by learn and strive to keep up to date with new initiatives within the DevOps area.

You will be responsible for further developing and expanding our DevOps strategy across our development teams and generally take DevOps to the next level in Hesehus. Your primary tasks:
- Further develop and maintain the strategy for the CI/CD pipeline in Hesehus
- Further development and implementation of a joint branching strategy in Bitbucket across our development teams
- Responsibility for our build pipeline that currently uses TeamCity
- Monitoring new versions and EOL for our dependencies on systems such as SQL Server, etc. and technical frameworks such as Node.js, etc.
- Responsibility for our deployment processes in Octopus Deploy
- Responsibility for and further development of our monitoring strategy and tools
- Preparing customer solutions in pre-prod and prod environments in collaboration with our development teams
- General automation of processes focusing on our development flow
- Ensure that our solutions follow guidelines/conventions and best practices
