Innovative VR company is looking for 1-2 Systems and Software Designers
Would you like to participate in the development of a technically complex VR platform and software suite? Can you think and work in a fast paced, agile start-up environment where deadlines must be balanced with long term software development and stability?
Then perhaps you are our new System and software designer.
By joining our team, you will get to play an important role in the continuous development of our software solutions and cloud-based platform. While your main mission will be to improve existing solutions and add new features, you will also become part of an innovative company, determined to improve education on a global scale. - VR applications: Unity 3D, C#
- Web portal: Booststrap, Jquery, Visual Basic and C#
- API’s: PHP and C# REST API
- Backend: mySQL, Google Cloud
- Version control: GIT LFS

The position
- Your main responsibilities will be to improve the stability and scalability of existing solutions, while also adding new features
- You will also participate in the design and development of any new solutions
- You will be working closely together with our Lead developer and systems architect
- You will also occasionally be working with our project team, who focus on the programming tasks that are “non-intrusive” to core systems and solutions
- The position is full time (40 hours pr. week)
Requirements
- As you will mainly be programming in Unity 3D and C#, extensive knowledge and experience in these fields are required
- As you will also be working with other technologies (such as our API’s, backend, and web) knowledge and experience in these fields is a plus
- As you will help rethink the design of our current solutions and plan new software solutions, experience in designing larger systems is a plus
- Ideally you have at least 2 years of work experience in a relevant field, but recent graduates with motivation and talent will also be considered
- You love to design and build future proof and scalable solutions, but can also work with short deadlines, less than ideal solutions, and occasionally mundane tasks such as bug fixing and testing
- You are a team player, but can work independently
- You have an educational background in computer science or similar (your specific educational background doesn’t matter, but personal competencies, motivation, and the ability to work as part of a tight team are of great importance!)
