With direct reference to our Scrum Master & Team Manager, you will become a part of our Electricity System Software team in the Technology Software division. The Scrum team consist of 8 dedicated colleagues who work as Software Developers and Software Testers. Together we are responsible for designing and building the tools that enable our customers to access our services. The team is a small focused scrum team which is part of a larger software department. We strive to foster a culture where we collaborate across teams, and therefore we firmly believe in shared wisdom. Furthermore, we aim to deliver high quality and learning in order to ensure continuous delivery. In order to reach our targets and goals, we collaborate closely with each other to succeed and share the responsibility of delivering high quality products.
A job with focus on the newest innovative technologies
As a Senior Software Developer you will play a central role in developing our OMNIA product suite, supporting our customers in all the daily tasks involved in remote reading of smart meters and in the daily management of your meter data and communication network. You and the team will be collaborating with enterprise Architects, Product Owners, Solution and Service Delivery and various other stakeholders, and will participate in the design, development and implementation of the OMNIA product suite.
More specifically, your primary responsibilities will be to:

We expect you to have strong skills as Senior Developer and have at least 3 years of experience as a Senior Software Developer or similar. You have a proven record within software development and a solid educational background as a Computer Science Engineer or similar.

As a person, you posses strong communicative skills and the ability to collaborate at all levels of the organization. You create an overview, and are fast at identifying the core aspects of a task. You do that through your methodical and analytical approach to your tasks. You thrive in having a multitude of tasks at hand and with being a sparring partner for others on the team. It is paramount that you are a team player and are able to receive and share knowledge with others. We develop using the scrum framework and it is therefore important that you are able to break down and estimate tasks in a comprehensive manner.
You are fluent in both written and spoken English. Danish will be an asset.

- Act as the frontrunner on new development tasks, including break down and estimation
- Follow the tasks from specification to release and ensuring the highest quality in all aspects of the solution

We expect you to have strong skills as Senior Developer and have at least 3 years of experience as a Senior Software Developer or similar. You have a proven record within software development and a solid educational background as a Computer Science Engineer or similar.
In addition, it is a requirement that you have solid experience with:
- C#
- Unit test and design patterns
- Databases (Mongo and MS SQL)
- Microservices architecture
- Understanding REST / WCF / Message queue concepts
If you also have experience with the following technologies, it will be considered as an advantage:
- Jira
- Scrum
- Git
- Continuous delivery (Jenkins, gradle, msbuild)
