We are looking for one or more competent and responsible DevOps specialist(s) for our team “Development & Operation tooling,” which takes pride in delivering top quality in all deliveries. Are you passionate about bringing the DevOps culture into the daily work of developing, and maintaining tools that support DevOps, and the agile transformation that bec is undergoing - then this position is for you.
You will become part of a team that, with the system ownership of bec's entire development platform and associated support tools, who works on expanding and optimizing it, so that we can provide a consistent, efficient and modern platform for the development organization throughout the application and software lifecycle. Your daily work will consist of both new development, sparring, maintenance, and support. We work, among other things with the following products and technologies on both Windows and Linux:

Your everyday work takes place in an agile set-up inspired by the SAFe model, and you are allowed to bring your talent into play in a well-established full-service IT house, where you help develop high-quality future-proof IT solutions to the Danish financial sector.

As a DevOps specialist in bec, you get a challenging job, where you participate in all aspects of architecture, development, and implementation. In the role of a professional advisor and sparring partner, you will help design innovative technical solutions that support architectural and technology needs of our clients.
You are expected to purposefully take ownership of DevOps to ensure the realization of the business gains in both the short and the long term and to help ensure that bec's development organization works with a modern and effective platform that demands transparency throughout the software life cycle.
Your profile
We imagine that you have a relevant education in IT, e.g. computer science, IT engineer, computer technician or similar. We expect you to have practical experience in one or more areas of ALM, CI / CD, SCM, Development Tools. Words like Collaboration tooling, Containers, Issue Tracking, PaaS, Pipelines, Pull requests, SourceCode Analysis, and Self Service are no strangers to you. If you have experience from the financial sector or a major consultancy where you have implemented similar - this is only a plus.
As a person, you are an innovative thinker, good at translating ideas into actions and setting common direction. You can conduct many tasks at the same time without losing focus. You are driven by acquiring new knowledge within a wide range of products and technologies. You have good collaborative skills and can interact professionally with our customers and users, and are good at familiarizing yourself with customers' needs on an analytical and structured approach. Finally, you are fluent in both Danish and English in writing and speech.
