We are looking for a software engineer with Data Vault 2.0 and/or Wherescape experience ready to share and grow
You become part of the Data & Cloud area of bec as software engineer. We are 100 people in this area, and we are responsible of building and maintaining the data warehouse and tool stack for bec and its customers.
In this position you will join a team of approximately 10 people, consisting of developers and a product owner working together to increase compliance on existing BI & Analytics platform (IBM Netezza) as well as re-building business solutions (datamarts) and designing a new Data Vault 2.0 on our new cloud-based BI & Analytics platform. The platform is based on the newest Microsoft Azure technologies, and we are using the automation tool Wherescape to deliver the best solutions to our customers, the bec member banks. Hence, this is a unique opportunity to participate in a critical ‘first-mover’ project not only within bec, but also within the financial industry in Denmark. As software engineer with experience of Data Vault 2.0 and/or Wherescape, you will be an important part of the transformation, supporting your new colleagues in best practices within DV 2.0 and Wherescape while building the solutions to our customer’s satisfaction.
Primary tasks and responsibilities

Preferably, you have an educational background as computer scientist, engineer or you have another qualifying background and +5 years of experience within BI & Analytics, ETL development, Data Vault 2.0 modelling and/or Wherescape development.

- Implementing Business Intelligence solutions, hereunder Data Vault modelling, developing ETL flows, testing solutions and deploying to production
- ETL development with Informatica PowerCenter, Wherescape, and Azure Data Factory
- Re-building business solutions (datamarts) on Microsoft Azure cloud based BI & Analytics platform
- Securing performant and compliant business solutions
