SKOV’s ambition is to be the largest and most acknowledged supplier of climate and farm management solutions for livestock production, thereby ensuring optimum conditions for animals, people and the environment world-wide.

You will become part of a global team of innovative software developers, located in both Denmark and Malaysia, being responsible for test of the platform foundation on which we build our products.
Your everyday tasks will consist of:
Furthermore, you will be part of the continuous development and improvement of our CI/CD environment, which currently is consisting of more than 400 SKOV controllers running test 24/7.

Our flexible controller platform is based on a modern Linux/Yocto environment running on high-end ARM processors utilizing larger touch displays with React based GUIs.
The software platform is used across multiple Controller applications, which are for production of Chickens, Pigs, Dairy and Insects.

- Plan test activities and give estimates.
- Design and implement test cases.
- Support in clarifying root causes in bugs.
- Identify and report bugs.
- Support in follow up and overview of progress.
Furthermore, you will be part of the continuous development and improvement of our CI/CD environment, which currently is consisting of more than 400 SKOV controllers running test 24/7.

We are:
- Using Jenkins and SeqZap as the main automation test tool.
- Using Python and C# to develop and maintain our build and test tool chains.
- Using Git for version control.
- Using Jira for task management.
- Using Agile methodologies on a team level and for alignment across teams, we are using SAFe as development methodology.
You will be part of the entire development process and you will have the opportunity to follow the product development process from start to end, including final validation with real customers.
To be a success we imagine that:
- Your professional background is in software test development and you have an education in computer science, computer engineering or similar.
- You have experience within automated software test, Jenkins, SeqZap, embedded Linux, debugging, JIRA, CI/CD, DevOps or similar.
- You hold a bachelor’s in Computer science, Engineering or similar.
- You are a quality- and result-oriented person for whom software test development is a passion.
- Thrive working in smaller teams and you find it easy to collaborate with our English-speaking colleagues based in Germany and Malaysia.
