Become a part of Technology Software at Kamstrup
Kamstrup is a world-leading provider of smart metering solutions for energy and water consumption. We are experiencing growing demand for our products and services and want to create value for our customers through the utilisation of data.
As our new Software Architect, you will join the Technology Software department, consisting of more than 50 committed and talented colleagues with backgrounds as software developers, testers and architects. You will be part of an international team in which some members are located in our office in Malaga, Spain.
You will work together with other software architects, and you will have the overall responsibility for the technical solution and take on responsibility for the sparring and quality assurance in relation to the development work. You will be part of a natural cooperation with stakeholders in and outside the department, including Product Management, User Experience, Security Engineering and Project Management.
A job with focus on security and quality
In the job as Software Architect, you will have an extremely important role in the development of Kamstrup’s future system solutions that are used for remote reading of data from energy and water meters. In cooperation with developers and other architects, you will ensure the best solutions for our customers. You will be working with Windows technologies such as C#, .NET, .NET Core, Web API, React and WCF as well as SQL databases, and you will be working on a product where there is a strong focus on security and quality.
In the job, you can expect approximately 10 annual travel days as some of your colleagues are located in our office in Malaga, Spain.

We are seeking a competent and experienced Software Architect who can contribute to the further success of Kamstrup. Therefore, it is a requirement that you:
In addition, it will be a great advantage in the job if you have knowledge of TOGAF or have another certification within software architecture.
As a person, you are outgoing and good at communicating and creating understanding and acceptance of your messages. You have a good understanding of the system behaviour and are strong at logical analysis. You work in a structured manner and consider it important to document architecture, requirements and decisions. You have the courage to challenge our ways of working and can contribute with creative and targeted input for improvement. You have a natural authority based on your skills and your experience, but you also know that the good solutions are created in daily cooperation with your colleagues.
It is a requirement that you master English on a high level – both orally and written. Danish will be an advantage.

- Have a solid theoretical background as a computer scientist, engineer or similar
- Have experience with coding and software testing
- Have minimum 3 years of experience from a similar job where you have been involved in both the requirement clarification and specification as well as software design
