Therefore, we are looking for a talented Embedded Software Developer who can support this continued growth.
With direct reference to Head of R&D for Heat and Water Meters, you will become a part of Technology division which is responsible for the development of our high tech metering solutions for the water and energy utilities around the world. More specifically, you will be a part of the R&D department consisting of experienced and driven employees with a broad background including physicists, hardware, software and mechanical engineers. Together we are responsible for the development of embedded software systems for our heat and water meters. You will become a part of a strong professional environment which is at forefront with newest methods within embedded software development.
Embedded Software Developer with focus on quality and reliability
In the position as Embedded Software Developer, you will be responsible for software development from concept specification, design and implementation to production start-up. These development stages implies an interdisciplinary collaboration with departments in Kamstrup, which could be product management or our technical departments relating to our production. You will have the possibility to experience the satisfaction of influencing solutions and see them introduced in Kamstrup products.

We are looking for an ambitious person who has recently finished a degree within software or electronics as the top of your class. This has given you an in-depth knowledge of C as well as a basic understanding of hardware which is required to succeed in the job. Knowledge of C# and Python will furthermore be considered an advantage.
As a person you are driven by a genuine interest in software development with a theoretical understanding an practical approach with a focus on the final product. You work independently and thrive in technical immersion, however, you also enjoy collaborating with colleagues both within and outside your team. You have high demands towards yourself and others meaning that you do not compromise the quality of your work. Finally, we expect you to have a structured and analytical approach towards tasks and take ownership of your work. You are not afraid of asking critical questions that might challenge status quo.
It is a requirement that you both speak and write Danish and English fluently.

- Create robust software for long time operation without service
- Create embedded applications using C
- Follow the tasks from specification to release and ensuring quality in all aspects of the solution
- Participate in project oriented development processes
