With a direct reference to Head of Product Tools & Apps, you will become a part of a software team within our Technology Hardware department. The team consists of eight dedicated Software Developers with backgrounds as Software Engineers and Physicists, who together develop meter configuration solutions and meter configuration applications for Android and Windows. We are currently working on making our desktop solution available on mobile platforms.
A position with focus on development of mobile apps
In the position, you will play a central role in the development of our application for mobile platforms, why you will be involved in everything from feature planning, development, and testing until the final release process. This includes communication with our meters through a serial or wireless connection. You will hereby have the chance of impacting the development of our current and future field tools.
You will be working with the following technologies:
• .NET / C#
• Cross-platform development in Xamarin.Forms / MAUI
• SQL / SQLite
• MVVM design pattern
• Build pipelines
• Unit testing
It is an advantage if you are familiar with GitLab or similar platforms.
Personality matters
We are looking for a competent and innovative Software Engineer with great collaboration skills. We imagine that you have a professional background in Engineering, Computer Science or similar and at least a couple of years of experience from a similar role where you have worked with app development and/or field tools.
As a person, you work independently and in a structured manner. You have a critical sense which enables you to establish what the best solution is, and you are proactive in seeking knowledge. You are furthermore a team player, and you appreciate professional sparring with colleagues.
In addition, it is a requirement that you master English at a high level – both orally and written. Danish will be an advantage.
