With a direct reference to our Team Lead, you will become a part of our Technology Hardware division which is responsible for the development of our high-tech metering solutions for the water and energy utilities around the world. More specifically, you will be a part of a R&D department consisting of +30 experienced and driven employees with a broad background including physicists, hardware, software, and mechanical engineers. You will join a team who is responsible for developing embedded software solutions for our high-quality smart electricity meters, therefore our development process is supported by automated Continuous Delivery pipelines and automated test systems. The team is characterized by a very informal environment, where we value an open dialogue, team-work and professional development.
A job with focus on teamwork, development, and technical responsibility
In the position as Embedded Software Developer, you will have a key role in developing our marked leading electricity meters to take them to the next level. You will have the opportunity to influence the design choices and the technical solutions, by taking part in the complete development process, from requirement specification to the final product launch.
Together with the rest of the team you will be responsible for the embedded software development for our smart electricity meters, where the main disciplines will be:
Personality matters
We are looking for a passionate Embedded Software Developer who can analyse complex tasks with a flair for innovative thinking and strong communication skills. As a person you are not afraid of thinking out-of-the box and challenge the status quo. You value teamwork and would like to become a part of a team where we co-develop on projects and use each other’s strengths to ensure the best designs and coherent implementations. You are analytical, structured and have a proactive mindset. In addition, you like to get implementations “off the ramp”, i.e. features developed and tested for product releases.
You have an educational background in Engineering, Computer Science or similar combined with experience with embedded development. Whether you have a few years of experience or are newly graduated is not crucial, but you are driven by a genuine interest in software development with a theoretical understanding, practical approach, and a focus on the final product. In addition, it is essential that you have experience with programming in C for embedded devices and development-experience in Python will be seen as an advantage.
You are fluent in English and Danish both written and oral.

- Understand embedded development for RTOS framework and multi-thread applications
- Unit testing in C
