IT Enterprise Architect - Global IT, Demant


Do you want to help us improving our One Company approach? Would you like to work with infrastructure and security automation, and do you have broad knowledge of on-prem and cloud technologies? And do you want to become an essential part of our Enterprise architecture team in one of the largest companies in Denmark?

A couple of years ago, we established a global program – called Armstrong - to strengthen our IT security and global IT infrastructure. The program has high visibility overall in Demant. Its goal is to establish a clear structure for governance, process, mandate, and organisation in Global IT.

Right now, we are looking for a new key member to join our team as our Enterprise Architect.

Join our department of Strategy & Portfolio Management
You will join our Enterprise Architecture team and report directly to the Vice President of Strategy & Portfolio Management and work from our Demant headquarters in Smørum. At the same time, you will play a very important role in the Armstrong Program where you will serve as the chief architect working with enterprise architecture in all aspects of IT security and operations improvement including ITSM, network segmentation, privileged access management, asset management, IT monitoring and identity access management. Both the EA and Armstrong teams are located in Demant Global IT in Denmark & Poland.

Furthermore, you will be working with solution and platform experts as well as IT Compliance & Security teams in the entire Demant business.

Take on an essential role in our security & infrastructure projects

Overall, you will find yourself playing an essential role in our security and infrastructure projects. Your main responsibilities include:

• Drive automation to improve IT security and reduce operational resources
• Ensure architectural integrity and operational viability of new solutions
• Build transition roadmaps from existing platforms to optimized, compliant platforms
• Reviewing vendor suggestions and designs
• Provide input to improvement of procedures to fulfil internal and external requirements

Experience within IT infrastructure & applications design
Joining us, you can look forward to having extensive communication with global as well as internal stakeholders from whom you will collect input and for them illustrate your design ideas.

We expect you to have broad and solid experience within IT infrastructure and applications design.

Your background may be from a role within solution design, general IT architectures and process optimization

You have a track record of navigating change and complexity and take pride in delivering on your promises. Finally, you are curious by nature and like to keep yourself up to date on industry and IT infrastructure related technology trends.

As a person you create trust, have a positive and innovative mind set with a can-do attitude and then you are of course a team player.
